Building Trust, One Project at a Time.
Our Story.
At Dad’s Handyman Services, we believe that every home deserves quality craftsmanship and dedicated care. Established in 2019, we are a family-operated business proudly serving Green Bay, Wisconsin, and Brown County areas. Founded by Tad Schubring, a U.S. Navy veteran and experienced educator, our mission is rooted in serving God and others through building and remodeling. Inspired by the values and skills passed down from our fathers, we approach every project with a servant’s heart and a commitment to excellence.

MEET OUR Experienced & Professional TEAM.
Tad Schubring.
Owner, Navy Veteran
Tad Schubring is more than just the founder of Dad’s Handyman Services; he is a craftsman with a passion for helping homeowners transform their spaces. After serving in the U.S. Navy and spending years as an educator, Tad combines discipline, creativity, and a deep commitment to community service in every project he undertakes. He views every task as an opportunity to build trust and deliver lasting value for clients.
Meet the Team.
Our team is the backbone of Dad’s Handyman Services, combining expertise and dedication to deliver outstanding results.
Jeff Meske.
Team Leader
Initiates the plan of the day, organizes the materials and tools for each project, and mentors an apprentice how to be productive, perform with quality in mind, and be safe.
Jeff spent over 20 years as a technology teacher in woods, automotive, and construction in the public as well as the parochial schools. He has been with us since May 2024. He’s married and has three adult children. Jeff’s hobbies include grandchild, outdoors, welding and woodworking.
Silas Schubring.
Handyman Apprentice
Works hard learning and honing his skills in framing, drywalling, painting, flooring, tool management, and safety. He loves to work with Luxury Plank Flooring (LVP) and use skip-trowel texture when drywalling.
Silas is Tad’s eldest son. He previously worked as an advanced behavioral technician assisting children with autism and also has experience in manufacturing. He joined us in September 2023. He is newly married and enjoys practicing his future engineering skills through constructing lego kits in his man cave.
Via Schubring.
Handyman Apprentice
As a part time apprentice, Via focuses mainly on painting. However she has spent time in many areas such as door installations, bathroom, and kitchen remodels. “My favorite part is simply watching the old turn new again. Giving new life to a home is pretty neat I think!” - Via Schubring
Via is Tad’s daughter. She worked briefly with Dad’s Handyman back in 2023, and has recently rejoined the team in March of 2026. During that gap, Via spent her time living, working, and serving through “A Christian Ministries in the National Parks”. She is now back in Green Bay and is enthusiastically pursuing an Interior Design Degree through Fox Valley Tech.
Via spends her free time hiking, drawing, and planning her next road trips.
Edwin Zamzow.
Team Member
Edwin is the only one not related by blood or by marriage but that doesn’t change that he’s apart of the Dad’s Handyman family. He has always been one to specialize the most in any construction especially with his intuitiveness to make builds and projects structurally sound. On his free time you will notice his balance of the outdoors with traveling, hiking, and camping as well as the indoors with gaming, anime, movies, and building LEGO Star Wars.
